We offer retailers and manufacturers an alternative sales channel for liquidating their inventory. Our merchandise consists of store stock, overstock and shelf pulls. How do I pay for an item?

I have paid for the item. Now what?

 

It is our goal to always ship items as quickly as possible. We usually ship within 1 business day of your purchase. ("Business days" means Monday-Friday, excluding holidays.) Tracking number will be automatically provided to the email address you provide us with by the carrier. The tracking number will not work until after the item has shipped. Items paid for on weekends will ship on Monday.

Do you charge sales tax?

 

By law, we are required to charge 8.25% sales tax to Texas residents. Tax will be automatically figured when paying through Paypal.

 

Can I return an item?

 

House of Fine Linens ® offers a 30 day refund policy if the items sold are found to be incorrectly described. Your satisfaction is very important to us as we want to earn your referral and repeat business. If for any reason you are not happy with your purchase, please contact us and we will do our best to resolve the issue as quickly as possible. If we made a mistake, we will pay for return shipping. If you want to return the item for any other reason, that's OK too. In that case, we ask that you pay return shipping and we will refund your purchase price less 15% restocking fee. Please include a note referencing the order ID number and the reason for the return. We do not accept returned items that have been used or laundered. Items returned must be in their original condition and packaging.

I saw an item but I need it in a different color/size/style. Can you get it for me?

 

The type of merchandise we offer varies greatly and changes from day to day. We have no way to know what we will get each day. This makes it impossible for us to find different sizes, colors or models. Bottom line: If we have it, it's listed and always at a reduced price.

 

Could you please describe the color of this item in more detail?

 

Not possible, for two reasons: Color is highly subjective and may vary in different lighting situations. It may be a good idea to see things in person in the dept store or view a catalog whenever possible since colors may vary from monitor to monitor depending on their settings. If colors are mentioned in a listing, the information came directly from the manufacturer or stores description.

What if my item is damaged or lost in shipping?

 

All items are automatically insured up to $100.00 free of charge. If you require additional insurance or signature confirmation, please let us know. Please provide your signature confirmation requests when making your payment. If an item is lost or damaged in shipping please contact us

 

Are your shipping fees high?

 

Shipping costs are determined by your order total. Purchases over $48 Pre-Tax Total qualify for free Super Saver Shipping. Certain items bear a $3.25 shipping surcharge based on size and/weight. These surcharges are shown on applicable product pages. Up to $47.99 shipping Pre-Tax Total is $9.

What about international shipping?

 

We use USPS for International shipments. The brokerage fee is included but customs duties and taxes are still buyers responsibility. We are sorry but we cannot ship large items USPS and cannot mark items as gifts. Please contact us prior to buying for shipping quotes.
